Ever since I stumbled across Illustration Friday, I’ve wanted to get into the swing of regularly taking part. Regrettably, this had taken a backseat whilst I’ve been occupied with projects I’ve been working on so I haven’t really got around to achieving this – guilty as charged.
Good news though, this is about to change as I plan to join in more regularly. For those that don’t know, Illustration Friday is a weekly art challenge where all artists are invited to produce work in response to a one word prompt. It serves as a fun opportunity to bring out your creativity and appreciate talent.
This week’s prompt word is ‘Resist’. Since, I won’t have the time to draw a new piece before the end of the week, I thought I’d share a conveniently fitting illustration from my TFB exhibition last year instead.
In most cases technological devices make our lives infinitely easier but at what cost? How much of our freedom do we sacrifice for convenience?
Have we lost the ability to resist?
